Description
A lot of Cabernet (from a few sources), some Mourvedre, a dash of Syrah, chunk of Malbec and bit of Sangiovesse. The 2015 Day Rogue continues our now 10 year tradition of a wild blend. This one includes grapes from three different AVA’s and a handful of vineyards. Blending was a bit harder than most years because yields where so low (it’s really a tiny amount of Syrah). We’re really happy with the final blend though, and know you’ll love it.
Tasting Note:Bright and deep in the glass with a very floral and fruity nose. The wine delivers lots of fresh fruit with mild tannins and a nice zip of acidity we think comes from the Sangio. You’re going to want to open another bottle every time you open one!
